Round Brilliant Cut Diamonds

A round brilliant cut diamond has 57 or 58 facets depending on if the stone has a pointed culet or not. At the top you will find the table which is the largest ground flat facet, along the sides there is a part which is called the girdle and below you will find the bottom part called the pavilion.
